Most of the time your teeth and gums will feel better after your deep cleaning. But sometimes your gum tissue may be tender. Take Tylenol or Advil and use warm salt-water rinses to soothe your gum tissue. Even though your gums may be sore, brush and floss.

If you experience any swelling, call our office. You may require an antibiotic.
